I dont know if this is a possible solution. It really depends on ones workflow.
I would like to see a .bak file created when one does editing of .k3ds files within K3DSurf.

This avoids erasing all of the other scripts that may have been added to the .k3ds file by
use of an external program such as Wordpad or Notepad, which is the 2nd way of to do
editing by pasting several scripts into one master file.
(I think 12 scripts is the max the program will handle at present, it seems to vary)

cheers!

Hello,
Yes it's a good idea. I'll try to implement it soon.
The maximum number of Isosurface formulas one can put in a single file is 950! The names of isosurfaces formulas should however be different so maybe your problem came from there?
